|Job Title||Nuclear Maintenance Project Engineer|
You’ll be controlling, developing and monitoring day-to-day maintenance activity at the power station. It’ll be your job to oversee work being carried out by others to ensure everything is being done safely and within regulations.
As part of your job you’ll need to be able to read and understand engineering drawings and technical details. You’ll also need to have a good knowledge of electrical and mechanical system and the equipment used in these systems.
|Training/Qualifications||Starting off with an Electrotechnical or Engineering apprenticeship, you’ll need to hold an S/NVQ Level 3 and HNC in an Engineering application, and also a Level 3 Supervisory or Management Certificate.|
Once you’ve passed all the relevant safety training you’ll be able to progress into roles such as project management, supervisory and management roles as you gain more experience.
